Tap, tap, tap. Bella heard a screech on the window, it sounded like finger nails on a chalkboard. It was a full moon and it all happened as Bella was making a new fashion design for her boss Will. Bella had a big meeting tomorrow to show her design in front of everyone she works for. Then Bella heard the phone ring. Bella answered the phone. “Hello?” All Bella could hear was heavy breathing. She hung up. Then the phone rang again. “Hello?” Again, all Bella could hear was heavy breathing. She hung up again. Bella looked to see the number to see who was calling. Bella called them back and heard the phone ringing next door in the abandoned warehouse. No one answered the phone. Bella continued working. Then the door knob started to rattle. Bella was the only one in the studio. The door creaked open and the room filled with light. Bella held her breath and her face went pale as a ghost, as she hid under the desk. A cold and boney hand grabbed her mouth. It pulled and dragged Bella away. Bella closed her eyes because she was so scared. When everything stopped and went silent, Bella opened her eyes to find she was hanging from a rope, above a pot that was full of larva. Bella opened her mouth to scream for help but nothing came out. “Mwwhahahahaaa!!”Came a strange voice from in the darkness. “Who are you?” Bella managed to say. “You still haven’t figured it out?” Screeched the strange voice. “Bbbbbut I need to go to an important meeting tomorrow.” Bella stuttered. “I only want something from you, I hope you can give it to me.” The voice replied. “Please let me go, tell me what you want, please! I need to go home to my family. I will try to get you what you want!” Bella shouted. “Well,” the strange voice thought, “You can’t. You know me! If you saw me, you would remember who I am!” The voice shouted. “Well who are you?? You are really freaking me out.” Bella shouted! Then everything went silent. Bella heard a very faint but blood piercing scream. In the shadows she saw a figure. “Please come out.” Bella asked. The figure slowly approached the rails bringing itself out of the shadows. “Milly? But why? We were best friends!” Bella asked. “But where we? What happened to us?” Milly stated. “Yes we were best friends but we wanted the same job. You got there first and took the job before I got there. I went to every shop in town looking for a job but no one wanted me. They all told me I was unhirable and would never get a job here.” Milly argued. Milly went back into the darkness and went silent. “Now look Milly, there is an opening at my store. I can put in a good word for you. But first I need to get my design finished and get good marks. You could get my job and I will get promoted!” Bella explained. “Okay, maybe. I’m still not sure. I am still really angry.” Milly argued. The rope began to lower closer to the pot of larva. “No!! The pot of larva is closer! You’re lowering me!” Bella shouted again. Bella could feel the sweat dropping from her face. She was only a metre away from dying. Bella started to cry. Then all of a sudden Will smashed open the doors and tried to save the day. “H-h-h how did you find me?” Bella asked.
“Well I went to work, but you weren’t there. Then I heard the screams and followed the noise.” “Well hurry up and untie me or I will die in this pot or larva!” Then the lights went out. “Ooowwww!” Will cried out. The lights came back on to find Bella and Will hanging from a rope above the pot of larva. The ropes were only one centimetre away from the larva. “Please! I will give you anything you want! Just let us go!” Bella screamed. “Really? Anything?” Milly relied. “Yes!! Anything!!” Milly stopped and thought until she came up with an idea. “Well, the job would be great.” Milly ordered. “Anything but that.” Bella answered. “Well then you can die!” Milly shouted! “Goodbye Will, I think I would rather die than give her the job!” Bella spluttered out. “You’re wish will come true then!” Milly butted in. The rope got dropped into the pot of larva. Bella and Will were never to be seen of again. “Mwwwhahahhaha!! Now I will have my dream job!” Milly screamed! Milly took Bella’s final design into the meeting and had a successful career. At night if you listen carefully, you can hear the blood piercing scream. SO BEWARE! Please please! I am begging you – BEWARE! You never know what could happen, especially if you want that dream job...
