THE 3 SCREAMS

The house started to rumble and a thumping sound was getting louder and louder. It was starting to creep me out but I couldn’t believe it, it was actually my brother playing the drums really loud. “Stop it!” I shouted “It’s too loud and it was also creeping me out”. I continued. “No it isn’t, stop sulking.” Leo replied in and adult voice. “You obviously don’t know how loud it is because my room is at the other end of house and it is a long way!” I replied annoyed.

Bang! The last door was shut to the huge truck that was carrying all of our furniture and other stuff. I couldn’t believe it but we were actually moving houses! The house we were moving to is meant to be a big mansion at 22 Plankville Drive. It was looming in the distance and was getting bigger and bigger. “Are you sure this is the right house mum, because this place is massive?” I asked mum weirdly.” “Well on the sheet it says 22 Plankville Drive. I think this is it.” Mum answered. Then she read this thing that said `Beware strange things are going to happen! Screams will be active each night`. As mum read that a shiver went down my spine.”Don’t be a scaredy cat, it’s probably just some fake thing just trying to scare people,” Leo complained. “Hey don’t be so hard on your brother Leo,” Dad explained angrily. “Ok” Leo replied. As I opened the door I could hear the sound of a really old rickety door about to break. The place was humongous and there were about 15 rooms. I spotted my room that was about probably about 10 times the size of my laundry at my old house.
Bep, bep, bep, bep, bep, bep! My alarm was going off. It had been going off for about 15 minutes. “Ahhhhhhhhhh!” Someone screamed. It sounded like mum and there was no sign of her. I asked Dad but he didn’t know. Then I asked Leo but he didn’t know. So then I wondered who else I could ask. Then I thought the dog (Tiger). I asked him but he couldn’t talk back. Silly me.
It had been two hours and it was almost dark. There was still no sign of mum. `Hopefully she’s not dead` I thought in my head. I was getting really worried. That night I lay in my bed wondering where mum would be but then suddenly, I heard an ugly man scream that sounded like dad. The next day I started to worry what was happening because there was no sign of dad. I was getting really worried that mum and dad were both gone. I was starting to think something was going really wrong and I didn’t know what to do. Then I thought maybe I might be the next one to be taken. I took a start to look in the 15 rooms. But after 10 there was no sign of them. I started to fall asleep but I just made it to my room. It was covered in blood! Then I thought there was something strange about this blood. It’s not as red, and then I tasted it. “You’ve got to be kidding me!” I shouted in an angry voice. “Leoooooooooooo” I shouted repeatedly. I vacuumed the tomato sauce off my bed and went straight to sleep. The next day as I woke up I heard an ugly girly scream. It must of, it couldn’t have, and it was actually my brother’s scream. Now I was left alone in this scary, spider webby mansion house that I hated.
I started in all of the last 5 rooms. But something was strange about the rooms. Ever door I opened had a little message that was weird. One of the rooms said `your mum is very delicious`. After that I felt really disgusted and sad so I just slammed the door shut and went to the next room. But still no sign of them. I had 4 rooms to go and I was starting to get really worried and scared. It was down to the last door and they had to be in there otherwise I would have been doomed, doomed forever. The pressure hit me and I hadn’t even started opening it. I thought maybe an alien would come out and attack me or even suck my blood and then all would be left of me would be my bones`. As I opened the door I was sweating like I had just ran a marathon or something like that. I opened the door and there was mum, dad and Leo hanging on a bar, then out of nowhere “RRRAAAHHH” Mum, Dad and Leo had scared the living daylights out of me. Then they started cracking up laughing, it was hilarious and it was all a joke. From that day on I had never forgotten about the horrible trick my family played on me.
