The Trembleing story of Mrs Fergerson

Floor boards creek, there’s something under your feet.
You better go hide Mrs Fergerson is in disguise.
She is coming to get you, she could be anywhere, and I am shore you will get a big scare.

‘’Morning Mrs Fergerson.’’ Mumbled Emily whilst she was yawning. Emily was a small town girl and only had one friend, but her book was her comfort zone. On a daily basis, Emily would walk out of her old rickered gate and walk casually to school. Sitting on the bold, red brick entrance was a wrinkled up dreary old hag. The lady’s name was Mrs Fergerson. She was white as a ghost and she scared Emily but Emily had to be civil and polite and say hello. She had a strange tattoo like shape on her arm and it looked just like a love heart.
Emily, what’s wrong? You seem like something is bothering you child?’’ Mrs Fergerson asked Emily in a quite tone. The wrinkled up prune then said to Emily ‘’You better run along sweaty, have a nice day,’’ ‘’Hey Mrs Fergerson? Where do you live?’’ Emily turned around and she was gone. Who? How? Or why? It was magical... All of a sudden... Emily turned around and there was Mrs Fergerson. . ‘’Mrs Fergerson? Is there something you’re hiding?’’ Emily was bewildered by Mrs Fergerson’s sudden move. ‘’Well all I can say is in your life someone will haunt you and at the start all you will hear is someone taping on your window. You better go in disguise.’’ Emily turned around and tried to walk normally to school. Emily didn’t know what to say or do. She was lost in thoughts of what the lady had said.
What a weirdo? ‘’If I turn out like that when I’m older, I better go into one of those homes that the oldies go into.’’ Emily said quietly to herself. Emily arrived at the gate and walked in. She was happy and felt safe at school. No hooligans could come in and scare her.
‘’You better go in disguise? What’s up with that?’’ Emily was in a reckless mood. Her attention to school work was appalling. All because of this one little old lady. ‘’ Ok children I am disgusted in your work today. Especially from a little girl whom I am not going to mention. All I am going to say is your all dismissed!’’ Grouched Mrs Richardson. Emily was reminded by her best friend Amy that she is going for a play at her house after school. Mrs Richardson was still babbling on even though she had just dismissed them they were all still sitting there. ‘’Maybe in the future children will respect me. Now you may leave.’’ Mrs Richardson finally stopped rotting on.
Amy’s house was just around from school. Amy grabbed Emily’s hand and said ‘’Hey, are you ready? We have to leave soon because we have to give prayers for the lady that used to live next to us. ‘’ Emily just nodded and of they went.
Before Emily knew it they were at Amy’s house. They walked into the old frail fence and there was the house. Their house was old and dead plants surrounded the house. A very bad smell of garbage that hadn’t been thrown out for weeks was lingering through the air.
‘’Mum! Em’s here!’’ Amy screeched from her living room.
‘’Oh, hello Em are both of you young ladies ready to go?’’ Shelly yelled from across the room. Both of the girls waited for Shelly to come into the room. They both nodded at Shelly and they were off. They hopped into the car and they went to the graveyard.
Emily hated graveyards. Particularly because there were dead people surrounding her. ‘’ Hey Amy? Who is this person we are going to see today? Is she rich or famous? Is she poor or elderly?’’ Emily had no idea who the lady was. ‘’We’ve got a photo of her that we are going to put on her grave. Here take a look. ‘’I know her! She sits and talks to me at the schools crossing. You’re playing a trick on me aren’t you?’’ Amy then suddenly looked at Emily. ‘’No Emily! She died in 1932,’’
‘’No. No. No. She is alive. I positive. She is always, and I mean always, talking to me.’’ Emily was very, very concerned. ‘’ Well I will prove it to you when we get there.’’ Emily demanded. For the rest of the drive Shelly didn’t hear peep out of the two girls from the back of the car.
They walked in to the graveyard. It was misty. No one around. Lost souls, riveting through the air. Victims rest in peace in tight coffins. Thoughts were streaming through Emily’s head. All that Emily hoped for was that Amy was telling a joke.
The girls walked on the small grey pebbles. It was there… written in bold black writing.

RIP
Maybel Fergerson
Died: 1932

‘’But. But. This can’t be. Mrs Fergerson talks to me everyday.’’ Emily thought to herself. ‘’She died in 1932. She died Amy? Did she really? Tell me the truth!’’ Emily lost her train of thought and started to become stressed. ‘’Emily calm down. It’s alright. It’s ok. I believe you. Well, sort of. Em all I want you to know is she’s gone and you can’t change that.’’ Amy was trying to explain it calmly and swiftly to Emily. Emily was gone. She ran for her life. She decided that she was going to go and see if Mrs Fergerson was still at the crossing. She then had a sudden thrust to the head. She had a mental breakdown. She fell to the ground and struggled to breath. She had a horrible crippling pain. All in a split second there was a hand over Emily’s face with a love heart tattoo like shape on the persons arm. ‘’Please don’t kill me please!’’ It was too late Emily was gone. Who killed her? And why...
